NLA playoffs begin Saturday, first home game Sunday at 14:00

John Baum 26.08.2009
This weekend, the Cards NLA team kicks off the 2009 playoffs against the Lausanne Indians. Game one will be played in Lausanne, game two in Bern Sunday, as the Indians overtook the Cardinals, claiming second place the last weekend of the season. The Indians, winners of their last 17 games played, were the Cards finals opponent last season. The Indians also defeated the Cardinals the last time out for their first ever regular season win against Bern. The Cardinals are hoping that the playoffs brings out their best baseball, as has been the case in the past. Under John Baum, the Cards lost their first playoff game in 2005, and haven't lost one since! The Cardinals have an insane run of 20 consecutive playoff victories! This team plays best when the situation is at it's most important, and are hoping to see all their fans at the Allmend Sunday for what is surely going to be some exciting baseball!

Come out and help us move forward to our record tying fifth consecutive championship!
