Bern Cardinals begin Euorpean Cup qualifier with perfect 2-0 start

John Baum 16.06.2009

But the Bern team would respond quickly, scoring two more runs in the top of the eighth, giving them an eleven run lead. Imboden then would retire the side in order, giving his team a 14-3 victory. Samuel Paulino; 3-6, 2b, 2 runs, 2 RBI. Raphael Hanzi; 2-4, 2b, 2 runs, 2 RBI. John Baum; 2-5 2B, 2 runs, 2 RBI. Severin Fries; 2-4, run, RBI; paced the offense. Second Game vs A.C. Ainos Kefalonia (GRE): 28-2; report will follow...
